Hope it's better than a v1. The WNR3500Lv1 is great as a router and maybe some other modes of operation but it is a dog as far as getting it to work as a wireless repeater. DHCP is totally unreliable in universal wireless repeater mode (which requires flashing with DD-WRT firmware which is supported by Netgear) either at assigning IP addresses on the LAN side or acquiring an WAN IP address from the remote AP. As I said, I hope it's better than the v1.
