A new independent, custom firmware build for the NETGEAR WGR614L Open Source Router has been published and is available for download!

This new firmware is based on Broadcom code but modified to support the WGR614L.  

Here are some of the standout features of the new firmware:

1) Guest SSID support. So, your access point can have multiple SSIDs. You can have a specific SSID for your own home/office network and use the other SSID for guests to use the router for internet access.

2) WPA/WPA2

3) WPS support.
