NETGEAR HD Powerline Adapters General Availability Announced

Today, NETGEAR announced the wide, general availability of its HD Powerline networking solutions, consisting of either the Powerline HD Plus adapter kit (HDXB111) or the Powerline AV Enternet Adapter kit (XAVB101).

These networking solutions are elegant, easy to set up, secure, and clutter free.  There's dozens of ways you could use them - perhaps you need to extend Internet connectivity in your home to a place where there is no Ethernet jack, or you need to connect Internet to a game console or media extender.  They're great for office and commercial applications as well.

Also, the Powerline HD Plus Ethernet Adapter Kit won the prestigious Best of Innovations award in the home networking category of the Innovations Design and Engineering Awards Program at the 2008 Consumer Electronics Show.
