Having tested most b/u/Sync solutions, I concur.
My only reservation is that Lucky is not presently a bare metals recovery program.
As such it might be prudent to maintain a copy of your partition(s) via Clonezilla. The copy does not need to be updated unless you change your partition geometry.
In the case of catastrophic failure, you should be able to recover via Clonezilla and then read in the current Lucky backup.
