This is a MyOpenRouter Independent Firmware Release.

This code is largely based on the Broadcom code for the BCM94xxx boards and with modification to support WGR614L flash layouts etc.

To upgrade from a Netgear version you should use the MyOpenRouter-WGR614L-v.4.139.6.2.chk and go through the Firmware update page of the Netgear router. The update instructions are similar to the instruction for upgrading to DD-WRT firmware.

To upgrade from another version of the MyOpenRouter-WGR614L firmware use MyOpenRouter-WGR614L-v.4.139.6.2.trx. You can go through the Webbased upgrade page of the MyOpenRouter UI.

The some of the most interesting features of this version are:

1) Guest SSID support. So your access point can have multiple SSIDs. You can have a specific SSID for your own home/office network and use the other SSID for guests to use the router for internet access.

2) WPA/WPA2

3) WPS support.

The UI could be improved. You are welcome to create a Great UI.
