I have seen one issue in DD-WRT firmware for WNR3500Lv2. [ DD-WRT firmware generated by compilation of source code for WNR3500Lv2 is not accepted by WNR3500Lv2 board. The reason is , boot-loader of WNR3500Lv2 is unable to perform lzma decompression of the firmware. On the other hand if the firmware is compressed by the lzma supplied with the stock firmware then the boot-loader is able to decompress that firmware.]

This download contains a fix of above issue.

This download is meant for 32-bit Linux machine.

The steps to use this package are listed below ...

* Compile the source code of DD-WRT for WNR3500Lv2.(If you already have a DD-WRT distribution compiled for WNR3500Lv2 in a 64-bit machine then no need to repeat this step).

* Untar DD-WRT_Image_Creation.tgz using following command,
$ tar -zxvf DD-WRT_Image_Creation.tgz

* Go to resulting "DD-WRT_Image_Creation" directory using following command,
$ cd DD-WRT_Image_Creation

* Run "ddwrt_image.sh" using following command,
$ sh ddwrt_image.sh

If everything goes well you should find the firmware ("ddwrt-wnr3500lv2.chk") in same ("DD-WRT_Image_Creation") directory.
