Sorry Eko...

Got today a brand new WNR3500L. Discovered for 5 minutes the stock-firmware. Then I found this also brandnew Beta. After Installing, I had no access in any way via the switchports. Only the known tftp requests from 192.168.1.1 where seeen for some seconds. Super. New record. Bricked after less than 15 minutes. During the search for debrick methods I've seen suddenly the ssid "dd-wrt". Horray, not really bricked. Fortunately I can access the router via WLAN.  Do further investigation.

Did you do a hard reset (30/30/30)?
http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Hard_reset_or_30/30/30

I made it long
as I lacked the time to make it short...

January 18, 2010 4:00 AM

Yes, this time I have done this, and it is working now ok. Was away from dd-wrt for two years. Still the same issues between newest hardware and technology implementations and some shaky issues of basic functionalities. For me the opposite of pfSense who is FreeBSD based and somewhat behind for todays capabilities like 802.1n and Multi-SSID. But rock solid Functionality...
Therefore I use both ;-)
