I used the chk file from september 18. I managed to lock myself out from the router. ( no wired and no wireless ) I can't get the failsafe to work. I've tried pressing the hardware reset button in various ways which i read about in the openwrt site. Is there no failsafe in this firmware or do i simply do it wrong? I would be glad if i didn't have to buy a usb to ttl cable because its quite expensive.

Me too.. There isn't a way to recover the router?

I'm sorry to say that I didn't solve it in any convenient way.
I soldered a contact in the router, managed to borrow a cable and uploaded firmware via tftp.
