Just one difference:
-v1 uses Broadcom BCM4705@300
-v2 uses Broadcom BCM4718@480
Thanks.

Hi Kong,
Both have the same amount of flash memory: 8 MB
See: http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Supported_Devices#Cisco_Linksys_.28Wirel...
v2 uses a faster Broadcom (480Mhz vs. 300Mhz)
Ah you are right, the 160N has 4MB, but it looks like the 610Nv1 requires a kernel 2.4, my build is a 2.6.
610Nv2 REQUIRES kernel 2.6 (because of newer Broadcom).
610Nv1 works with both kernels (dd-wrt has 2.4 and 2.6 kernel firmwares for v1). See http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Linksys_WRT610N#LINUX_KERNEL_2.6_BUILDS
The resource says, that broadcom_K26 builds work, if that's the case my build should work with it.
But since you are probably the first one that tries it on the v1 make sure you know how to debrick your router before you start flashing.
I cannot use the 5GHz radio of WRT610N v1 with Kong Mod. It simply fails to connect! :(
Hi viniciusferrao,
try the build with the latest wifi drivers:

Let me know the results.
