Even if write access is set to disabled, you can upload files.

proftpd does not allow you to overwrite existing files regardless of whether write access is set as enabled or disabled in the gui

Hi anees,

I just tried to reproduce it, but I'm already on a new build of mine and wasn't able to reproduce this. But it could be because I use a different mointpoint etc.

What mointpoint do you use?
What does this command:

mount

show you?

the problem is

You can always upload files to the server regardless of the settings in the web-gui
AND
proftpd can delete files but not overwrite them.
