I just upgraded to kong Mod because the miniDLNA support for XBox.

Well, now my USB port is dead!

The HDD does exactly nothing. It flashes a few secs when I plug it it, and then it switches completely off. (The Disk worked perfectly with original Firmware)

Under Services > USB > Disk Info "Not Available"
After Power off / Power on and 30/30/30 Reset the Port is still Dead.
Please Help!

For the case I can get it to work:

Where can I find the DLNA Settings?
Services > NAS only shows "ProPTFD" and "Samba" settings

Well, seems like kong Mod doesnt like my external Hard Drive (Hitachi 1TB 3.5"), cause my 16GB USB Stick works (if I connect it before i turn on the router)

As I said, my external HDD works with the original Firmware and with tomato too (unfortunately tomato crashes every 15 min).

Well, maybe my 2nd HDD works with kong Mod, at least Ill give it a try.

But I could not solve my 2nd question yet: Where are the DLNA Settings??

Can you log on via ssh and execute command:

dmesg

when you have the drive attached, it should display messages that allow to identify the issue.
If you don't see the DLNA settings then you must have flashed the vpn build.

omg, youre right, I downloaded the wrong build.
I used the big "Download now" button on top, unfortunately the button is linked to the VPN build....

I am at work now. When I am at home I´ll download the correct build under "Kong downloads".

Another Question: I want to stream Videos from the HDD to my XBox (thats why I need DLNA). Do I have to scan the HDD again manually every time I copy new Videos on it?

OK, flashed the correct build.
My 2nd (bigger) HDD works perfectly.

But:
Every time I unplug or power of the HDD it gets a new disc number, so I have to re-configure the shares every time I do so! (it is now ".../disc2-part1"), cause I reconnected the HDD one time and one time I powered off the HDD.

2nd thing is, that the mountpoint of the HDD is "/tmp/mnt/disc2-part1/"
Why is there a "/tmp/" in the path? (this mountpoint was automatically created by dd-wrt)

Oh, and forget the scan-new-files question ;-)
