Found out i had to use firefox instead of IE to upload the file. DD-WRT now works like a charm.

Hi,
Have the same unit, how is it working for you?
Does the LED lights work on the unit??
Any help/answers would be great.
Thank you

It is working fine for me. LED lights are also working but resetbutton does not work.

Thanks for the info. Are you getting any better performance over the stock firmware? My router is working, but not as good as I thought it should over my old Linksys 310N. Do you think you will stay with the new firmware and is it going to be a problem to flash back to the stock firmware? Sorry for all the questions just really undecided about doing it.
Thank you

You just need to do firmware upgrade from webUI of dd-wrt firmware you are using to get back to Stock firmware.

The code loaded perfectly. By pointing the WNDR3700v3 to the image that you built, it loaded and rebooted without any issues.

When working with the image, I was immediately struck by a perceived limitation to the power (dbm) and bandwidth. In the factory code, one is able to set the transmission rates to up to 300Mbps. This is not possible in the image you built, unless it must be set through the CLI, as the GUI doesn't seem to allow for the power or bandwidth rates.

Once these two corrections are made, you have a solid image from my view. Thanks for posting the source with it too.

Hi All,
Well it seems to be working good for me, the LED lights work. I have not tried the USB or reset button yet. I'm just a bit disappointed in the performance of the unit. I thought it would be a whole lot better then my old Linksys 310N. I have a chance to buy a 3700 V2 model and I would like to flash that unit and compare the two. So that's my next step this week will let you know how that works for me. I'm going to keep tweaking the V3 for a day or so to see if I can get anymore out of it. Thanks for the help and flash code it is much BETTER then stock.
Thanks

I was able to get the firmware installed on the router. However I'm not able to see the 'Wireless Physical Interface wl1 [2.4/5 GHz]' The wl0 works fine. My laptop connects to the wl0 wireless signal.

wl1 is enabled and I have a SSID set. With the stock netgear firmware it worked
fine. Anyone else have this issue ??

I had the WNDR3700v1 and it was amazing until it got hit with electricity. Now I have a version 3 and it seems my dns is having problems or the router is just slower. Does this version of dd-wrt work like the ones that were available for the version 1 with all the options or is it gimped like the Buffalo dd-wrt's?

I tried that but for some reason none of wireless devices can see wl1. Not sure why.

It worked with the stock firmware.

WAN NAT Redirection does not work properly, it acts as if I always have Filter WAN NAT Redirection on.
