The KWGR614 has reached the end of its product life.  We will continue to have content available on the site.  It will be succeeded by a new open source wireless router by NETGEAR, the WGR614L, which is extensively customizable and supports a whole array of third party firmwares.

View more information on the WGR614L here.

Looking forward to trying the WGR614L. But not totally sold that the KWGR614 is at the end of it's life. There are some cool things folks can still do with it.

I will submit some stuff that may make folks think otherwise.

I am also wondering if the KWGR614 will be discounted and sold at close out prices. If, so, it may make it something that I would jump all over. Laughing

You're right, Brandon, the KWGR614 is a powerful router and will definitely be useful to lots of folks, and we'll continue to have content on the site supporting it, even though it has been declared "end-of-life."  The site will continue to be the "go-to" spot for this router!
