Hi everybody.

I live in the Netherlands and want to buy the WGR614L, however after mailing with the Netgear.nl people, they told me I should take a look at the KWGR614 or wait about a year for the WGR614L to appear on the dutch market.

I have found quite some online shops that sell them, but I can't find out wether they contain the right power adapter and are even (when looking at the radio frequencies etc) legal in europe. I'm not even sure if one of those things even matter, but I can't find out online so I'm hessitant to buy it.

Trying to buy it on Netgear.com (go to http://netgear.com/Products/RoutersandGateways/GWirelessRouters/WGR614L.aspx and click on Buy direct) will actually try to sell me the WGR614. Which is probably a bug, but still.. all of this online shopping and browsing is getting me confused.

Does anybody know of a way to obtain a WGR614L in the Netherlands without ending up with a product I can't use (for some reason or other)? Anybody who can give me some certainty or pointers to a good and trustworthy european supplier?

Thanks in advance!

I've just seen that on both the WGR614L and WGR614, the ordering part number is actually equal. Does

Ordering Part Number (United States) : WGR614NA

Does this mean I can just buy a WGR614 and there would be no difference with the WGR614L?

Haha, I just found this picture:

This does give me the feeling the WGR614 v8 is just the same as the WGR614L . Now I really need some help with the whole branding Netgear is doing.

Yes WGR614L is same as the WGR614v8. The router is not yet released in Europe but you can get it from one of the US online retailers - but you will need to get 12v 1A DC power adapter for the router. I don't thing that the 110V AC USA power adapter (12v output) will work in Netherland.

I havn't found an online retailer that will ship to europe (Amazon doesn't at the moment) and the adapters are probably going to be a problem. Guess there is nothing to do but wait or just go with the older KWGR614. I'll have to roam around some more.

Thanx for the info!
