I am very much interested in running tomato firmware on WGR614L hardware. But since it is not fully functional yet I would like to have a provision for swithcing between original netgear firmware and the tomato firmware. But I am unable todo upgrade the netgear firmware from the tomato image.
Is there anyone who has already solved this issue ?
yes, I have fixed this problem. Actually Tomato allows only 'bin' or 'trx' firmware and Netgear uses 'chk' format. So you need to add the chk specific stuff in the fimware upgrade routine of the tomato source.
I was trying to upload the modified firmware in this site but unable in doing so - probably I do not have the permission to upload.
oh... thats great. Please upload the firmware so that I can also use this firmware.
