What do you mean telling cell router? If you really need cell network access and flexible routing, you may look on routers with USB jacks. For example people created firmware for WL500GP (and similar devices) which includes drivers for USB-to-Serial ICs (used in mobile phone cables, usb-to-com port converters, etc) so you can attach cell phone or COM-port modem to a router and for example, use it as your backup link (implementing logic you need will require some scripting but that's not a rocket science). Surely this not so easy and requires certain efforts and Linux knowledge but this is way to go if you need something working over cellular network and flexibly routed right NOW.Hard and not very elegant solution but anyway possible.Today.

I doubt there is lots of people who uses EDGE or 3G as broadband so I doubt it will have awful market success.

Or you mean you want to setup wi-fi running somewhat like cellular network for greater coverage where several wi-fi "cells" are co-operate together? Then, learn what is WDS and just configure it.Then have fun :).Virtually any modern router supports WDS setup.
