I just loaded Tomato v1.11.41510 on my WGR614L and noticed that the "Test" light (check icon) is now on all the time.  Is this normal?

 Thanks,

 Mike..

The test light is not a good indication for this firmware - this is known bug and test light doesn't mean anything for WGR614L tomato version.

Can you connect to the internet?

Unfortunately I didn't get that far. The wireless was not working with Tomato (no SSID showing up on remote devices) so I went back to the Netgear software which is working. I hope to have some more time to work with it this weekend.

I'm having the same problem. I just uploaded the latest version of Tomato, and the orange test light is still on--and no Internet connection.

I tried powering off and powering on while holding the reset button in... Still no go. I'm going to try and reinstall Tomato again.

After a huge ordeal getting the wgr614l, the first time I put tomato on it, it bricks it. It'll get to the tomato page, but any link on the start page times out. Check light is stuck amber.

I've read some stuff about updating the firmware manually with TFTP but there doesn't seem to be any single resource that describes how to do this from beginning to end.
