Probably you have not got the IP address from your router. Open command prompt and check your current ip with the ipconfig command (I guess you are using Windows). Your IP should be in the same subnet with the Router's LAN. Check the IP and please configure (Statically or by DHCP) if it is not already set...

I am trying to connect through a belkin pci adaptor g wireless. I have insatlled it. it works. I can receive a very strong/excellent signal from my router however i cannot access the internet because it says i have limited access. can anyone please help! The router is part of a network and i am not the administrator but i have the wep key (which i have entered) with no apparent luck.
