I wish it were a stable device - mine locks up any time I make any config changes

Hello everyone -
A new release of DD-WRT has been posted on the site (it was also announced in the forums.) You can find the updated download by clicking here.
In addition, an article has been created for this firmware download to instruct you how to install it on your WGR614L. You can read the article by clicking here.
The new firmware release fixes many of the bugs and issues found in earlier versions. If you have any questions regarding this new firmware release, please post on our public forums!

with latest release it works except the led lights not working properly.

I am interested in using the NG as a wireless controller. Thus the serial port is handy. I want very much to learn about the hardware innards of the microcontroller on the NG.
