I just bought a WGR614v8 and am attempting to load tomato on it. I downloaded the zip from this site and am attempting to upload: tomato_wgr614l.chk to it (like the readme in the zip instructs), but the router refuses to load the image (says "invalid filename was provided"). What am i doing wrong?

Thanks,

Brad

If you use latest version of tomato i.e 1.25 then you can use IE, firefox both to upgrade firmware. Other than this there are safari, google browser (chrome). However I do not use them to upgrade firmware.

You can flash tomato-1.25 using both IE and mozilla ....
I have done this ... All u need is the tomato-1.25 version of f/w ....
This can be done for DD-WRT latest f/w also .... the DD-WRT f/w is also avlbl at this site ....
