Build 10991 is available for download at dd-wrt.com : downloads -> others -> eko -> V24_TNG -> svn10991
Hi all, Eko has fixed most of the issues like led blinking, resetting in his new firmware. This firmware is avilable in the DD-WRT svn - version number is 10488. Please try this version. This was a test build but no one has complained against this formware. It's working quit fine. Try that out and share your comments.
Thanks -- It seems to work fine so far!
New builds, svn 11028, are available for download at dd-wrt.com : downloads -> others -> eko -> V24_TNG -> svn11028
Eko,
Appreciate your work, and keeping us updated. Mini version .bin applied without any problems, and seems to be very happy. Is there anything you need feedback on for the WGR614L?

TimWell, yes, feedback - positive or negative - is always welcomed. This is only way we can improve it. Other suggestions are welcomed too.
Hi, I am new here.
I just changed from the v24 sp1 special to the Eko 10991 to fix the upnp problem.
I want to know, as of now, the highest version is 11207, is higher the number the better? I have no idea what these version numbers are.
And what's the different between NEWD and VINT?
Also, is the special version available?
thanks a lot.
My router is WRT54GL 1.1
Hi,
Could any body plz tell me where can I find patches for latest build i.e svn 11028.I need to update my source code in accordance with the latest build provided by eko ..
I've tried the new DD-WRT v24-sp2 (12/17/08) std_small (SVN revision 11218M NEWD Eko) but the old bugs are still there:
I have a LAN 192.168.0.1, a WPA2-PSK AES-CCMP WLAN eth1 192.168.1.1 and an unecnrypted chillispot wl0,0 at 192.168.44.1.
After boot and after every forced pppoe re"dial" eth1 loses its IP.
Even with IP I can't connect to my private encrypted WLAN until the nas process is restarted. Seems like nas is started to early at boottime when the device isn't yet initialised. nas doesn't recognize the properly set up device later and nas remains unusable until it is restartet once after every reboot every few weeks.
Luckily I have a wired client to access the router but I have won a 2nd WGR614L at this forums (thanks a lot Peter Redmer & Netgear Emarketing) and I want to use it where someone doesn't have wired clients. With this bugs the router would be useless because it wouldn't be accessable.
Any advice for a dirty workaround?
Is there anybody who have tried DD-WRT firmware 11218 for WGR614L ? I am asking this because I know one guy who use it and find checksum error. I bricked my own router, so can not try this firmware. If somebody test this firmware and let me know the result then it will be of great help.

I did not get any checksum problem ... neither my router got bricked ....
I wonder, why you ask, Tathagata Das, because I've written before that I'm using 11218. But just like the old firmware it seems to have an oops or something. After a week the chilli wasn't running anymore and couldn't be restarted manually. My private WLAN didn't work either. Only a reboot helped. That's exactly the same behaviour like 10509 e.g..
At least the GUI-Update works with newer builds but I wonder what other things have changed. I can live with a WLAN that slows down or dies every few weeks but adding the eth1 IP daily is really annoying ;-)
