Could someone verify that the router uses the BCM5354 chip ?

I want to use the router a remote controller and it appears that the router may have two UARTS and also a USB Host controller plus a maximum of 128MB of RAM *support*

Yes it uses the 5354 Broadcom chip.

yes the router uses broadcom 5354 chip.
