Hello Gus, what kind of hardware are you planning on hacking? Are you referring to the WGR614L specifically? You can certainly include hardware hacking conversation in the "WGR614L Open Source Router" forums, at least for now.

Are there any other members out there that are hacking hardware that would like a special forum to talk about it here? What hardware are you modifying? I'd love to help.

Yes, the WGR614L is what I want to hack.
Two things would be great for me. Netgear could really help
1) The pinout of the BroadCom BCM5354 micro-controller
2) The I/O pads on the PCB that Netgear brought out from the BCM5354.

( I am hopefully correct about the BCM5354 being the onboard micro-controller )

I am trying to ascertain all the capabilities provided by the on-board micro-controller.

Does it have SPI or i2c serial communications ?
It has been reported that it has a USB 2.0 host controller. Also two UARTs.

Thanks

I do not know the pin diagram of bcm5354 but will publish a brief feature set of this SOC in this web site soon. Please stay tuned. thanks.
