I attended CES 2009 and passed by the Netgear booth.  I picked up a document titled "Home Networking Solution Guide" Winter / Spring 2009.  On page 12 in the lower half is an entry "Wireless-N Open Source Rounter WNR3500L" additionally noted as "Coming Soon".   I did not notice this while at the show and only read this at home afterward so I did not have the opportunity to ask Netgear staff at the show.  Is anyone in a position to shed light on this project?

 thanks

 David

You are correct - this was not shown at CES - I would have loved to have seen it though! Unfortunately, I'm not in a position to shed any more light on this, but rest assured that we'll do out best to cover it as soon as we can :)

It would be nice to know what specifications it will have (RAM, flash, etc...).

You can bet that the second I'm able to, I'll post some specs... everyone's excited about the new router!

I guess my point of disappointment is that the current WNR3500 (no L) is a single radio WAP. While it is rash of me to assume anything, I doubt the WNR3500L will add a 5 GHz radio. I have already decided that I want a dual radio wireless N for my next wireless router for a number of reasons. Still, we need to look at it.
