I have two computers on my netgear 2.4g that worked great up until a few days ago. Now my computer which has windows xp can't find a network. I have turned the modem and router on and off and nothing (twice). The xp has a wg111v3. When i ping it, it says  "destination host unavailable". The blue light on the wg111v3 is on and flashing.

Would appreciate any help or ideas.

Sorry, Some portion of your query is not fully clear to me. You have two computers and one wg111v3 which was earlier working fine. Now it is not working with one computer which has XP. What about the other computer ? Have you tried with that one also ?
It may happen that somehow your router is broken.
Does that wg111v3 scan existing AP list successfully ? Is it showing the AP to which it usually gets connected ?

Hi. I'm on the other computer. It has a WN111 with no problem. This computer is a VISTA 64-bit. It's the XP I'm having problems with. So, the router can't be broken if this VISTA computer is working, but the wg111v3 is not able to communicate with my router. And, the wg111v3 does show two routers out there (one mine), so it is scanning I believe.

Yes, the router is not broken and also wg111v3 is working fine, at least it is able to scan.
Please compare the security configuration of your two machine. Also check the wireless security of the router. There is a high possibility that XP's firewall some way or other prevent your machine to connect with the router. You can try with the Ethernet cable also.
Does your WG111v3 associate with the router ?

I am just telling you some debugging techniques.

Hi, Tathagata. Thank you for your help. I disabled my firewall, virus, etc. and no luck. I still cannot access the web. I cannot connect the computer directly to the router because it is upstairs. Strangely, it has worked for a year without any problems. Any other suggestions?

Update: I was able to connect to neighbor's router but NOT MY ROUTER! It's a Netgear 2.4G so it looks like the router may be blocking my adapter?

yes. That is one possibility. Check the firewall setting of your router and also the router setting. Some way router blocking that particular device.
I guess you have already tried with another adapter with that router. That basically confirms that router and adapter are working fine individually. But there is some problem between those two devices.

Hi, Tagatha. Thank you for helping me. I figured out that the passphrase was not correct. Put the correct one in and I'm connected. I've been trying for days to fix this. It's always something simple!

Good to know that your problem has been fixed. Enjoy exploring with Tomato 1.25 on WGR614L.

U can try a factory reset ... This will disable the security ...
U can then connect to your router and configure the security again ...
Make sure that u remeber it this time ... :)
