I need a firmware that gives me more control over which sites a certain computer can't visit and to be able to block keywords, url, proxies, online chat service like AIM, etc.

Which is better DD-WRT or Tomato?

Both of these ... Infact almost all 3rd party firmwares support this feature ...
U can use any of them..

Out of all of them, for access restriction, time limits, site restrictions, etc, I would choose the Tomato firmware hands down. It offers more control and easier control in my opinion.
