We've been hearing via Twitter that some "scary" bugs are being reported in the newest BETA builds of DD-WRT firmware, which have been posted on the community. These builds are built on svn13832 and 13637.
We're waiting to get a link to the specific conversation, but in the meantime, use these new firmwares (as with any third party or beta firmware) at your own risk.
If something happens to your router, you can follow the many guides we have here (including de-bricking your WNR3500L) to get back up and running.
In the meantime, I "downgraded" my WNR3500L to the v24 svn13309 version, which, while still BETA, is being pointed to automatically by DD-WRT's database:
http://www.dd-wrt.com/site/support/router-database (You have to search for the WNR3500L)
You may or may not want to do this, but not being a DD-WRT "expert," I'm going to stick with the build that's being officially pointed to on the site, even though it is also a beta.
Does anyone know of any bugs with the v24 svn13309 version?
