This is a good news. Now people can play more with WNR3500L with DD-WRT firmware.

Any problems with this? Is it safe to upgrade from the version listed in the hardware database? Also, where's the mega version?
I don't think there is any mega builds of K2.6.
If someone installed please indicate how it works.

This is what I'm using now for the 3500L:
http://www.dd-wrt.com/routerdb/de/download/Netgear/WNR3500L/-/dd-wrt.v24-1330... (it's labeled as mega)
Its labeled Mega in the download description but the filename says big (dd-wrt.v24-13309_NEWD-2_K2.6_big.bin)
BTW. i am using 13832 with no problems so far. Will try 13972 asap.

Nukie, were there any modifications made from the version distributed by ddwrt? I am thinking about getting the pro version for broadcom chips, do you think it would work? This version is working well for me.
I don't understand your first question, this is the latest build (version) from ddwrt. The one you find in their router databas is rather "old". As for pro version i don't know anything about it, but since K2.6 is rather new use this one.

Thanks for your quick reply. My house has two apartments, I share access h my tenant. Last night I was trying to watch a Netflix movie while she saturated the connection downloading a bunch of things. The reason why I want the "pro" version is so I can throttle her by ip address. However, I am concerned that I would have to make changes to it or compile it special for the 3500L.
So my question is, did you have to compile this version special for the 3500L or were you able to use the code (bin or chk) straight from the ddwrt website/svn? Thanks for being patient with me.
I did not do anything with this, its from ddwrt:
