jus' bought this thing and luck would have it, my isp goes down 24 hours after i installed. before the isp went down everything worked great. i have tried rebooting modem and router . callled isp provider to reset the MAC., no luck. i have DHCP. the setup disc will not accept any of the MAC address i input through setup. reversed the cable maybe a polarity prob, no luck. new at the open source router thing. any help would be appreciated.

figured this out. if u have a wireless reciever. u need to disconnect it physically. then plug into the router with ethernet cord and log into the router. basic settings will allow u to test and apply settings with the MAC address given. once that is done your internet should come on through the router. reconnect the wireless router and reboot. evrything should be as before. at least this is what i did. do not understand why the wireless got in the way, but it did.
