Your laptop has a green light because it is connecting at Gigabit speeds, the Xbox does not support Gigabit so it is connecting at 100Mbit instead, this is causing the orange light.
Hi all, I just flashed DD-WRT mega to my WNR3500L for better control over wireless bridging from Tomato. I noticed that when my laptop is connected to it via ethernet the port light on the router is green, but when I connect my Xbox to it the light is orange (though it works fine). Any thoughts?
