So I just got a WNR3500L and set it up with DD-WRT and whatever FTP program it comes with.

Odd thing... If I transfer a long filename from Vista... it works fine. If I transfer a long filename from XP... it shortens it. And all the long files already ON the NAS? XP can't even SEE them.

This is regardless of whether I use Windows Explorer or CuteFTP.

Any explanation for THAT?
