This is very unlikely.
Can you reboot the board and try again ? You can try with root/password also.
HI,
I just got my new WNR3500L router and flashed the firmware from here:
http://www.myopenrouter.com/download/list?sort=date&cat=48
On the first boot I got ask for a username/pass:
I entered: admin/password
Now I see the control panel but if I click on "Administration" or something else I will be prompt again for a user/pass. But admin/password or root/admin isn't working!?!?!?
What I am doing wrong or how to reset it?

Yes,
with the "restore Factory Defaults" button I received the screen "change Password" again.
I found out that I have to delete all of the dots before entering the user/pass root/admin. So I deleted eyer dot and entered it new and now it works! ;)
Only clicking on change without entering something didn't work also.

Also not only does a 30-30-30 reset fix it, clear your browser cache/cookies and that should help as well.
