I have downloaded dd-wrt.v24-14311_NEWD-2_K2.6_big.bin. But I can not load it in my board. I have upgraded my board many times with different firmware in chk format. I do not know whether it the problem of bin format or not. Is there any way to change from bin to chk format.

Hi All,
DD-WRT supports to upload bin file format. Upload older version of ddwrt in chk file format using tftp. then upgrade it through web.

You'll probably want a newer or older version of DD-WRT - that one is known to have issues (search both this and the DD-WRT forum).

It could also be a corrupt download, but as you don't say what the problem is it's hard to suggest what the cause could be.

Other firmware, only in bin file format  can be uploaded.

Trailed builds (builds with router name in it, for netgear its always the .chk files) are for the initial flash only, they have a special header in it for the router default firmware to accept the image, after that, you simply use the .bin files because dd-wrt doesn't care about the header info anymore.
