Hi,

occasionally the logs of my WGR614v8 (stock firmware) show DOS attacks:

Smurf from the external IP of the router

STORM from the internal IP of my Mac

What are the conditions for those alerts to occur? Because I seriously doubt either is a real attack.

Are these actual log messages that you are getting. If not then post those messages. Can you tell us when are you getting such messages or you are always getting these messages whenever board is on ?

STORM is most likely Microsoft Office broadcasting my serial number. It does that non-stop, but I assume the router only registers an attack when the timing is in phase ;)
