I cannot seem to log into this site with OpenID.

When I enter my OpenID and press enter, I get an error, saying that I should enter my AIM login details.  I do not want to log in using AIM - I'm trying with my MyOpenID OpenID.

I have tried different browsers and get the same result.

Give details of your problem like which hardware, firmware, setup etc. It is tough to help anyone without knowing the problem in detail.

Hi Tathagata

I understand that this section of the forum is for feedback on the forum.

I am not talking about any hardware or any problem that I having on my end.

I am saying that the OpenID signing-in form of this forum is misconfigured. The button for OpenID seems to be attached to the AIM form section, so it is impossible to sign in using OpenID.

OpenID is the same thing as YahooID, GoogleID, FacebookID, etc. where you can use your OpenID to sign into other sites automatically, as long as you are signed into your OpenID account.

Hi Jason,

I am seeing this exact same behavior in my testing. I can log in with a Yahoo or AOL OpenID, but not through the OpenID button directly, just like you pointed out.

I apologize for this inconvenience and will have my tech team look into it right away.
