Just set my router up. Everything went ok except I can't see my network, Mshome. I'm getting orange lights on the router for 1-4. Appreciate any help. Thanks

Which router are you using ? What is the firmware and its version ? If you tell us the problem in details like the set up then it is easier for us to help you.

I'm using a Netgear WNR3500L with firmare version 1.0.2.50. I have wireless connection. My wired computers have internet access, but my home network is down. I'm getting yellowish colors on the router numbers 1-4. I use a fiber optic ISP, so theres no "modem" for me to power up. I powered up the router with the computer already on. Then I connected the ethernet cable from computer to router.  I think this is where I made the mistake. I had planned to reset the router to factory settings and start over with the computer off when connecting it to the router. Power up the router then boot the computer.   Hope this is the info you need. Thanks for your response

What is the OS installed in your wired computers ? Ordering of power up router and boot the computer is not important. You can boot your computer first then power on the router. After power on do all ports (1-4) are on or only those are on to which ethernet cables are connected ?
Can you check whether IP addresses are assigned to your wired computers properly ?
Then try to ping to the board with 192.168.1.1. Let me know the test results.

Port 1 -XP Home
Port 2 -Netgear Print Server
Port 3 -Win ME
Port 4 -WD Network Hard Drive
All ports are on and in the Routerlogin, it shows them as attached devices. I'm not sure how to ping to the board with 192.168.1.1. Never had this much trouble setting up a router so I not very good at troubleshooting. Thanks for your help
