Are you able to ping to the board?

HI, I am a newbie to dd-wrt and linux. I bought new "WNR3500L-100NAS" from bestbuy. I flashed "dd-wrt.v24-14896_NEWD-2_K2.6_mini-WNR3500L.chk" and then "Kong Mod USB/FTP/SAMBA/OPENVPN".Following link "http://www.myopenrouter.com/article/10594/Using-NETGEAR-WGR614L-with-DD-WRT-As-A-Wireless-Repeater-Bridge/" I setup repeater bridge connection. Currently I can access internet with this setup. (my primary router is "wrtu54g-tm"). Problem is after configuration is done, I cannot get to get to dd-wrt webgui using 192.168.1.1 . I have the same results trying multiple times. I use windows vista.

Yes, I tried to ping "192.168.1.1" and "192.168.1.2" no response. Also I could not find my "WNR3500L" routers IP address. Also connecting to primary for IP all I have is mac address but no IP. Please let me know how get my "WNR3500L" IP address.

Your router gets IP address for WAN dynamically( using dhcp, or PPPoE). I think there is some problem on network configuration. Please do hard-reset on your router. It will back your router to previous configuration.
