Is there a config or package out there that will allow me to pass UDP packets over my PPTP tunnel?

WORKGROUP
192.168.100.101 / Server

  |

ROUTER
192.168.100.1 / LAN
192.168.100.2 / PPTP Server
76.0.0.0 / WAN

  |

REMOTE PC
78.0.0.0 / WAN
192.168.100.150 / PPTP Client

I can ping everything inside the workgroup just fine, but I can't browse network resources.  I figured out that all that is handled over UDP.

Any suggestions?

Rob

=================================

okay I'm not sure who I'm more disappointed in; me or you guys...

To get UDP broadcast traffic to work over a PPTP tunnel under dd-WRT it's one radio button click from DISABLE to ENABLE.

Click Services
Click VPN
First radio button is PPTP Server, click ENABLE
Second radio button is Broadcast Support, click ENABLE (disable by default)

BAM !!!

I can now browse my WORKGROUP over my PPTP VPN tunnel.

Hi there,

I'm trying to achieve the same thing but my build does not have a radio button "adio button is Broadcast Support".

which build are you using?

Thanks,

Phil
