I am having trouble with getting my laptop to work with the Netgear router WNR3500L.  I have a connection but unable to receive any thing from the router.  Need help kinda frustrating.

having same trouble, went somewhere else and they logged me in on there wireless connection with no trouble

Probably going to need a bit more info before someone can help you.
Did you setup any wireless settings on the router? What happens when you plug directly into the router? Does any other device connect to the router without issue?

yes the laptop connect via ethernet cable to router,but will only allow a local connection when it connects wirelessly, took the comput to a friends house and had no trouble connecting wirelessly

all conections in house are fine but my compac laptop it apears to be a compaibility issue with laptop and router
