When you say "flashed, with an "good old" Firmware" do you mean the factory firmware? If not try it.
Categories: WGR614L (Legacy Product)
Hello everybody,
I've had flashed my WGR614L Router by an own compiled Firmware.
So, I don't know whats happend, so this Router isn't booting, some other Firmware. Firmware which worked fine before.
With an USB-Serial Cable, I see this:
WGR614v8 - 1.8 (Mon Apr 13 10:53:43 CST 2009)
et0: Broadcom BCM47xx 10/100 Mbps Ethernet Controller 4.130.30.0
Device eth0: hwaddr 00-0E-00-00-06-00, ipaddr 192.168.1.1, mask 255.255.255.0
gateway not set, nameserver not set
Invalid image_len/image_chksum!

So, I don't find any other people with the same bug.
Here are some Info's about the Router (NVRAM):

Yes, I've tried the factory firmware:
thc@laptop:~/Desktop$ tftp 192.168.1.1
tftp> bin
tftp> ver
Verbose mode on.
tftp> put WGR614v8-V1.1.24_14.0.43NA.chk
putting WGR614v8-V1.1.24_14.0.43NA.chk to 192.168.1.1:WGR614v8-V1.1.24_14.0.43NA.chk [octet]
Sent 3526714 bytes in 4.9 seconds [5757900 bits/sec]
tftp>
or some DD-WRT Firmware, which worked fine before.
All tries takes the same result at the router:
WGR614v8 - 1.8 (Mon Apr 13 10:53:43 CST 2009)
et0: Broadcom BCM47xx 10/100 Mbps Ethernet Controller 4.130.30.0

I'll hope you can help me, please.

So, today I've tested and analysed, but I can't find an(y) error(s).
But, if I had typed "nvram show" twise, so the router printed other results.
Here for example (uncutted copy and paste):

What's matter with this device? I've never seen before this.
Did any body knows, whats up with this WGR614L Router?

Router is like that since I have flashed openwrt backfire then reboot. I'm confused, what is flash0.os ? Have you
Does anyone has any idea ?
thx :)
Hello m0j9,
jepp, I've flashed Backfire before, too. (DD-WRT and Kamikaze worked very fine before!)
So, I meant no harm by it, but it seems the root of all evil. :-)
It's good to know, I'm not alone ;-)
