Hopefully I just asked my question in the wrong place. Details here: http://www.myopenrouter.com/download/discussion/28111/trying-to-get-vlan-working/ but the main thing I need to know is if this is even possible (and if so, how):

Router is a netgear WNR3500 

vlan1 = ports 1-2 + wireless = private lan
vlan2 = port 0 = wan
vlan3 = port 3 = nas, ps3, etc
vlan4 = port 4 = public wireless
