Hey everyone,

I would like to serup a wireless router where I can give a user an username and pasword and instead of punching in the ssid all they need to do is open a internet browser and it will give a welcome screen and prompt for the user name a password. But until you put these in yo do not get anywere. I have seen these on the highend cisco AP's but would like this setup with my linksys using some of the 3rd party firmware.

Thanks in advance for the help

Sorry, I do not have much idea about linksys router and also I do not know which linksys firmware you are using. It would be better if you post this query into linksys's forum.

It does not have to be a linksys device, that is just what I have on hand, however I will post in the linksys forum also.

Thanks

All embedded router may not support this feature. Also if any router supports such feature then configuration of that feature may differ from router to router.
