You might flush your browser cache for the router and try again. If that doesn't work you could try another browser.
I've flashed my WNR3500L with lastest Toastman's tomato (without USB) with the folloing method :
Vanillia Netgear FW > DD-WRT for WNR3500L v24 K2.6 svn14289 Mini > Toastman's Tomato Firmware for WNR3500L (Std) 1.28.7476 K26 > 30-30-30 Reset
I can login to telet, but I'm totally unable to log on the web interface : it asks me a password, then nothing happens. (Only the page title shows up in my browser, and it's stuck at "loading" state)
Any Idea?
No. I flushed my cache, used different browsers/PC's, it doesn"t work.
Even telnet access is slow to show up my first login page but at least it works...the web interface displays nothing, or after some minutes the following non clickable text :
Tomato
Version 1.28
toast
System
WAN
LAN
IP connectivity to the router is good. Tried with ethernet and wifi, same issue.
I am missing something/using the wrong version?
There is a new update today 77475.5 http://www.4shared.com/dir/v1BuINP3/Toastman_Builds.html#dir=105920660 You may want to try it.
I don't see anything in the read me file that mentions what the changes are but maybe he hasn't gotten to it yet.
Don't forget the warning in the read me... 'WARNING - DHCP IS DISABLED BY DEFAULT. DON'T FORGET TO TURN IT ON IF YOU NEED IT.'
Hello,
Thanks, in fact I'm more thinking of a MTU problem : my others PC are finally accessing the web pages correctly, and when I make http connection through a ssh tunnel on my non working PC, it works.
So it has become a minr problem, but I will keep you informed if I find the issue.
I honestly have no idea about this - I can't reproduce it, although periodically I see people post this question about every other Tomato mod also. One common thing is that people report only some of their clients suffer from the problem, when one PC can't access the router, usually others can. Often rebooting their PC has made it work. All that points towards something on the individual PC concerned. (There was one possible cause in the router firmware(PAWS check) but I removed it altogether).
Did you try different browsers, clearing caches, etc... ?
