Hi everyone.  Just wanted to say hello, and thanks to everyone for making this place what looks to be an awesome resource.

Little about myself: I have an Associate's in Computer Information Systems. Got a Bachelor's in Economics (God knows why I didn't finish Computer Science).  Spent 8 years in the Army as a M1A1 tanker 1996-2004. Now I work in IT as a sys admin, desktop, and VM dude. I am kind of the jack of all trades amongts the groups on my IT team.   I used to be a huge gamer and modder, but since have gotten the Apple bug, and pretty much am Macs across the board; I just got tired of blowing tons of cash on new cpus, gpus, mobos, water blocks, cases, etc.  Just wanted to buy something an be almost prevented from modding it.  Hence, I got the Mac bug.

Anyway, I never really messed with routers.  But then I started my CCNA recently and was like hmm, there has to be cooler stuff than these crappy out of the box routers.  So I started reading, got my first Netgear WNR3500L, and landed here.  Looking to soak stuff up, beak things, and hopefully contribute in the near future.
