Yes set static IP and login and turn DHCP-server ON.
It's off by deffault in newer builds.
30/30/30 restet is'nt best way to erase nvram. Use built in NVram eraser instead.
I recently installed the new toastman firmware and all was working at first. I started having some wireless issues so I was going to try a few things out. One of the first thing I did was a 30/30/30 reset to make sure I didn't accidently change a setting. Here's where things went bad. Ever since doing that I have no internet access and can't access the gui. I have tried pinging the router but it does not respond. I even unplugged all cords and left the power unplugeed for at least 10 minutes hoping that would help. But as of right now I am just plugging straight in to the modem with my desktop so I have internet access. Any ideas?
Thanks for the quick response, that did thew trick! I was able to set a static ip and turn DHCP on.
