Hi,

I'm new here. Just bought a WNR3500lv1 about two weeks ago.

My project is to encrypt all my house using OpenVPN.

So I thought try DD-WRT first but...

With the orginal firmware from netgear (v1.2.2.44_35.0.53) i have a wifi problem. All my devices are disconnecting as described ih this post

Is anybody know if this problem is solved with all alternative firmwares ?

Can you change the channel and see if the problem persists ? Also can you try with no wireless security ?

I tried to change my channel to 3 as my wifi was on the same channel same a neighbour one, the 6.

I'll make some tests before to deactivate all security.

Hi,

Sorry I would have answered earlier.

After having changed the channel everything seems OK. No more disconnections.
As my neighbour doesn't use its wifi I asked him to turn off his access point.

So now let's think about my encryption project.

So interference with other APs was the root cause of that WiFi disconnection problem. Nice to hear that your problem is solved.
