It appears that no matter what I try, the WNR3500L wireless speed is limited to ~22Mbit.
Even with wireless-N cards, the link speed is ~144Mbit, but the data speed never exceeds
22Mbit, even at 2m distance.

Any ideas?

WMM is enabled, WPA 2 personal and AES encryption as well.Wireless card Intel 6200 agn

Hi, I have noticed the same with my config:
Tomato Firmware v1.28.7497 MIPSR2
the negociation is at 56Mbs my notebook and just after goes down to 24Mbs. I've tryed many things with no success.

My speeds suck as well. Windows shows the speed as 150Mbit/s (max on my adapters), but actual wifi transfer speeds are ~2.5 MBytes/s, never more. As I understand it, real world N speeds are at least to 4-5 MBytes/s

WMM enabled. WPA2/AES, N only, 40 transmit power, devices close to router. etc.

I am also on channel 11 with channel width of 40Mhz. I'm not sure if that's a problem.
