hello,

i am the unhappy buyer of a WNR3500L

this router has stopped working after i turned it off one day that was the end of it.

i tried recovering it by following the instructions here:

http://www.myopenrouter.com/article/20940/How-to-Solder-Pinouts-into-a-NETGEAR-WNR3500L-For-USB-TTL-Connection/

as a non-eletric-engenier i am not good in soldering boards.

Thanks Netgear!

so i will get a replacement from another brand.

thus it has not been fixed.

if someone would like to pick this thing up in London/South East London - i would be glad to get rid of it.

Nicolas

Are you running stock firmware or something else on your router ??
Can you please elaborate on "router stopped working" ?

it is using DD-WRT firmware

as for "router stopped working" - i had to paint the room where i had the router - thus turned it off and it never turned back on.

have already tried the 30/30/30 reset.

therefore i can only assume it to be *bricked*
