So i have netgear WNR3500 V2/U/L v1 and i need optware can u give me link so i can download it ??? i also run dd wrt software on my router but i need  very good security since i use lots of things and i also do online banking payments etc.... and they are lots of viruses as u know so i want best possible protection without use resources on my computer i have usb drive and router so help me to make the magic.......  i read the site but i cant find from where i can download optware?!?!? for my router thank u .

I read it but i cant find any info about where to get file for my 3500 netgear?

You didn't read it carefully enough.

You prepare a USB stick with the correct partition setup ready for Optware as stated in the guide, mount it and make sure all the partitions are mounted correctly to the correct places and then run in a console session i.e. SSH:

wget -O /tmp/prep_optware http://wd.mirmana.com/prep_optware
sh /tmp/prep_optware

There is no specific Optware install package for each router model.
