Sputnik (sputnik.com) offers a free service called SputnikNet Express that I've gotten to work with Netgear open source router. SputnikNet Express uses a DDWRT build to connect to your account with them. With SputnikNet Express installed on your WGR614L, you can: Brand a login page (while limited, it's decent for most rollouts) Block private nets View some very basic usage reports Auto-authenticate up to 5 devices using MAC addresses such as Wi-Fi printers, employee laptops, etc. Run local ads on your login page (I'm not sure if you get to keep revenue from ads or not?) Theme your login page with popular themes like Google Local, MSN, Yahoo! Local. I'd like to quickly introduce myself and why I'm here with all of you before starting to post, well...useful articles. I've been interested in open source software and especially the companies that embrace it since my discovery of the idea of open source development. I'm currently persuing my Bachelor's in E-Business through DePaul University in Chicago and I'm highly involved with the Coleman Entrepreneurship Center there. In fact, I was this years 2008 Entrepreneurial Student of the Year as well as one of the Illinois Technology Association's "Top 50 for the Future" award winners. Backtracking a little; I was always a bit of an entrepreneur and love all that revolves around business. In highschool I founded a website design and programming firm that still successfully operates today as well as a number of other small ventures. Currently, I'm growing a Wi-Fi hotspot management and promotion business, Titan Hotspots, and having a lot of fun with it. I found this community through a few good networking sessions and my insatiable appetite to create a more stable, faster, and promising hotspot solution for my clients. With all the promising aspects of the Netgear WGR614L, we quickly moved to using it...</description>
